First, the test object - whether jewellery, coins or bars - is rubbed on the touchstone included in the set until a clear abrasion is visible. Our gold test acids are equipped with a practical spatula cap that allows the acid to be applied easily and precisely to the abrasion. After a short exposure time, a reliable statement about the superficial gold content of the tested object is obtained. Please note that the touchstone is not supplied together with the test acid.
