The CaratScreenPen uses a very small amount of harmless electrolyte fluid contained in the measuring pen during measurement. Due to the limited volume, the pen has a certain lifespan (typically 3 to 6 months), as reliable measurement can no longer be guaranteed once the fluid level falls below a certain level. Therefore, if you notice any deviations in the values or errors in calibration at any time, you should replace the pen.
Slight leakage during transport or prolonged storage is normal. The excess liquid can be wiped off with a cloth and is harmless to health. However, if the pen leaks during the measurement process, please contact us.
Keep the measuring pen closed and do not store it at high temperatures, as this will cause the liquid to evaporate more quickly.
Please do not clean the measuring pen, as this can adversely affect the electrolyte fluid and thus distort the measurement results.
